I have had the privilege of getting to know Mel a little more this year --ironically, the year after she has graduated from Queen's. :P It is always inspiring to hear what she has to share, whether good or bad, because it is so obvious that God is the Love of her life no matter what her circumstances. Recently, I was so excited to hear that she has decided to partner up with a fellow God-Lover --for life! I was even more excited that they posted their love story online! No, it's not gag-mushy or soap-operatic. Just a great testimony. :) In a world where you hear about broken hearts every day, it is refreshing to hear instead a (very true) story about what happens when God is factored into the heart equation.
