sustenance

i was going to post something but i no longer feel like writing...so to flesh this out, i present my intro paragraph --for your enjoyment, i'm sure. ^^ come join me in my excitement for...*drumroll*... "Romantic Literature: Wordsworth"!!

Whether it concerns a theatrical backdrop, a historical account, or a surrounding context, the term “background” is generally associated with such ideas as secondary importance, unobtrusiveness, and inconspicuousness. Although Wordsworth often sets his poems against a background for those basic aforesaid reasons, there are some instances worth noting where Wordsworth places a much greater emphasis on the scenery or the surroundings than usual, forcing his readers to re-evaluate their expectations and assumptions. “The Ruined Cottage,” a work by Wordsworth included in Lyrical Ballads, is one such instance. In this poem, the cottage setting is more than a mere location where the story takes place, and it is neither unobtrusive nor inconspicuous. Rather, it functions as an indispensable complement to the poem’s subject, Margaret, and in the intricate linking of her tale with its setting, Wordsworth implicitly promotes his belief that the evocation of both thought and feeling is necessary to produce a story worth hearing or a poem worth reading.

HOW am i still pretty functional and even (dare i say it) stress-free in the midst of all that is to be done? ... this, then, is a testament to how my Father cares for me; with vigilance, He sustains me and leads me through even the wee-est hours. :)
It is good to praise the Lord, to proclaim His love in the morning and His faithfulness at night.
