there's nothing quite like the first snowfall of winter ... waking up to a world blanketed by pure whiteness ... even if it is a thin blanket! :) fills me with tingly joy, head to toes!
i have so much to thank my ABBA for ... it's incredible ... where to even start!
well, i guess first for getting me through november...! gosh, it was quite the marathon. and thankfully CACA was in on it together! what would i have done without you ladies keeping me company on those late nights...and often staying up even later (and er.. remaining up for another day :P). plus keeping me laughing and sane...what a blessing you are ^^
thank You for Sunday School kiddos who are actually enjoying the songs i taught (quite last-minute) for the presentation this week...i don't see myself as much of an organizing/motivating person, plus i was nervous about how to teach the meaning of the songs and the crowd's potential rowdiness (!) ... but their enthusiasm truly surprised me! and they look soooo adorable in costumes. pictures to come! gratias to see-mold, stephie, jean, & priscilla for being MY actions teacher, and my mommy for the awesome ideas!
thank You for an amazing end to last week, complete with a visit from my dear family (special props to MANS who gallantly risked failing a physics test...heehee!), a lovely evening out with them & precious friends, and a larger-than-life encounter with You as we rolled out the first round of carols for Christmas 2006. thank You for meeting us at Bethel ... those lyrics have taken on whole new meanings for me. When singing of how Jesus reconciled God to man (Hark!), my heart broke (unexpectedly, considering the song) for those who cannot claim that for themselves, those who were not standing next to me shouting out this praise too .........

may i not waste this time You've provided.
thank You for brothers and sisters who teach me how to pray, and show me how to live a life that is FREE and FULL of your light.
finally for now (& YES there's so much more i've not recorded here), thank You for taking me through life one day at a time ... for such a calm assurance: this child can face uncertain days because He lives!
Here's the next step on our journey ... this appeared on yesterday's Google "Quotes of the Day"... oh what a sense of humour You have!
Books to the ceiling,/ Books to the sky,/ My pile of books is a mile high./ How I love them! How I need them!/ I'll have a long beard by the time I read them. - Arnold Lobel
